Kunzmann base bevel file guide 25mm with a diamond file is what we use as a last step before waxing a ski or board.

If using a freshly base ground ski I personally use a 0.5 base file guide, and later move on to a 1 degree guide if I have damaged the base edge at all.

For working on a set of skis with the factory tune I find the 1 degree works best.
