Volkl Kendo 88 skis 2022 model
Volkl Kendo 88 skis was a new model for the 2019 Australian season, now with 3 Radius sidecut.
WOW, what a ski, the best ski I tested on day one at the SIA demo days at Copper Mountain.
This new ski is proving to be the most popular ski I sell these days, hard to find a better all round ski for Australia.
3D Radius Sidecut: R1=Tall Radius / R2=Center-Main Radius / R3=Tip Radius
Tip & Tail Rocker
Multilayer Woodcore, Poplar/Beech
The new Kendo with 88 mm middle width shines with an impressive carving-performance due to the three different radius’s in the sidecut.
This special geometry is 100% adjusted to the tip & tail rocker construction. Depending on the rider’s speed or edge angle the effective edge becomes longer or shorter and the matching side cut radius provides hold, maneuverability and smooth running.
On top the Kendo 88 is built with a Titanal Frame and Carbon Tips, providing more stability and dampening.
At the same time the middle section of the ski becomes stronger and allows a softer setup. As a result the ski becomes extremely lively and as well as stable even at the highest speeds.
A Multilayer woodcore, framed by full sidewalls and a P-Tex 2100 base underneath rounds up the premium construction.

The Kendo 88 is an ultra-versatile all mountain ski that is ideal for a multitude of different ability levels.
With a three radius sidecut, this ski adapts to long or short turns at a variety of speeds, the greatest innovation in a ski for quite a while.
With rockered tip and tail, this ski is agile and easy to initiate turns on while handling off-piste lines with ease and confidence.
Titanal frame for extra power and stability, this ski can run hard if you want it to, and with Carbon Tips the swing weight is reduced allowing tighter skidded turns and changes in direction.
Great for a variety of skiing styles and abilities.
