K2 Pinnacle 88Ti skis 2019 model.
The Pinnacle 88Ti ski is a streamlined version of the K2 Pinnacle 95 freeride ski, this years version is a totally new ski, now with added stiffness a much better all round ski.
I tried a set of these when they first came out and thought they lacked edge hold on firm snow and were not fun to use, this latest model has changed that, they are now a great ski in all aspects, which is why we now have them in stock for the first time.
If you were to add a set of Alpine touring bindings to a set of these, you would have one of the best touring skis on the market, but if you are not into AT, they are now also a great resort ski due to the added stiffness.
Low density konic construction and nanolite core pair perfectly with carefully tapered tip and tail. K2 konic technology is a revolutionary ski design that a re distributes mass in the ski, placing heavier and stiffer materials directly over the edge where they have the most impact on ski performance, this results in a ski with increased precision and high end power while retaining a large sweet spot.
- Skis with all terrain rocker have a gradual rise to the tip for added versatility and control in all conditions
- A metal laminate construction uses a sheet of titanal above and below the core to give the ski a damp, precise and accurate feel
- K2’s patented triaxial braiding process interlocks strands of fibreglass around a profiled core for increased torsional stiffness while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood core ski.
128/88/110 sidecut with a 13.5m radius, all terrain rocker profile.
