Boot fitting services

Description

Boot fitting services.

Due to staff shortages this year we may not be able to work on boots that were not purchased at our shop, we are finding that without more staff to help with the general duties, boot fitting will be limited to selling new boots and working on any boots that we have sold that need any rework, however if we manage to hire a few new staff members this will free up time for extra boot fitting.

Boot fitting services such as heat moulding of liners for ski and snowboard boots, and shells for ski boots, custom footbeds, and heating the new Atomic Mimic liners, punching out shells to make them wider etc.

If the boots are purchased at Pauls ski shop, we offer the following services free of charge as part of the boot sale: Heat moulding of the shell and liners including the Mimic liner, punching them out as required.

A heated boot liner adds comfort and increases performance of a boot if done right.

A lot of modern ski boots these days have a heat mouldable plastic shell, brands such as Atomic, Salomon, Head, K2 and Fischer, the advantage of this is that we can fit you in a tighter and smaller boot than the past and once heated, your foot will expand the boot for a close fitting but comfortable fit.

Although we do stock the Sidas 3 Feet footbeds which are all most people need in a ski or snowboard boot, we also make custom footbeds for those who require something that cant be sorted with a 3 Feet

3 Feet insoles

An appointment is required for any of these services as we are usually busy all day long everyday working on boots for someone who has an appointment.
